A handwritten dialogue with time and space, unfolding in blue ink and gold leaf.

After encountering Atmos in Milan, Mauro Carraro returned to it through drawing and handwriting in his Geneva studio. Across the square sheet, the celestial subject and a personal letter share the same space.

Read a passage from the letter

Constellations become a meeting point between two languages: the measured rhythm of the drawing and the unfolding rhythm of the words. Blue ink traces this conversation; gold leaf brings light into its surface.

“This one-metre sheet could just as well have been one kilometre by one kilometre, or the size of a postage stamp. Because the universe, a little like you, has no true measure.”

From Mauro Carraro’s Letter to Time, September 2026.
