Story
Three numerical satellites form a date: 10·10·26. In this original work from Letter to Time, the architecture of a wandering-hour watch becomes a commemoration of World Watch Day.
Around the drawn watch, a handwritten letter reflects on Mauro Carraro’s discovery of watchmaking in Geneva: the craftspeople, encounters and friendships that grew from a shared fascination with time. Curiosity brings people into conversation, across differences of experience and background.
Read the material notes
Blue ink moves between the contours of the watch and the written field. Raised details and metallic leaf give the surface another register: light caught in relief, beside the intimate rhythm of handwriting.
